Frequently Asked Questions

What is the battery life of ATEK sensors?

ATEK sensors offer flexible power options with up to 10 years battery life depending on the model and use case. Some models feature internal rechargeable batteries, while others use primary replaceable batteries. All include power outage detection and remote battery monitoring with alerts.

How do the wireless sensors connect?

ATEK sensors use LoRa wireless technology for long-range, low-power communication. Data is transmitted to gateways which connect to the cloud via Ethernet or cellular. WiFi and cellular sensor options are also available.

Are the sensors NIST-traceable?

Yes, all ATEK sensors ship with NIST-traceable calibration certificates. We also offer ongoing calibration services through our A2LA accredited calibration laboratory.

Can sensors be used in hazardous environments?
